Krause went 99-40-1 in July.

We have a record for most wins in a month thanks to dkjets13, also known as Daniel Krause. It took a total of 99 wins to win July's $2,500 prize. Krause clinched the monthly title with the Philadelphia Phillies victory late Friday night for a closing 4-win day, holding off two other Streakers who finished with 98 wins.

Krause, a die-hard Jets and Mets fan from Rome, N.Y., works as a software engineer and, most importantly, is a Streak for the Cash fanatic. In order to get to 90-plus wins he made as many picks as possible. "I had the lead for most of the last week and a half, so I was just trying to hold on, and even though I was racking up a lot of wins, so was everybody else," Krause said.

Even as he kept racking up the wins at a Streak-record pace, Krause had to keep picking and picking to maintain his lead over his opponents, which never grew to be more than one or two games. "I could never relax, and I even lost the lead on the second-to-last day, but thankfully I got lucky and won it back on the final day," he said.

Krause has a basic knowledge of all the major sports but relied on reputable sportsbooks to make his WNBA and soccer picks, going with the favorite. But for the popular sports like baseball, he was able to spend some time and put more thought into the picks.

He also had some big-time jitters when it came to the final day. "I was incredibly nervous on the last night. I was watching the Moto X best trick final with a bunch of friends and I held my breath every time a rider would go off the ramp. I never thought I could root so hard for riders not to achieve a backflip," Krause said.

Krause is a self-proclaimed dominant pingpong player and loves watching football on television, especially his New York Jets. "I've been going to Jets games with my father for as long as I can remember. I can't wait to see what Rex Ryan can do with the defense this year," he said. His favorite ESPN programs are "SportsCenter," "PTI" and the World Series of Poker, and he plays every fantasy game he can. When asked what he was going to do with his prize money, he responded: "I plan on putting it towards a nice vacation to Disney World with my girlfriend." He also wanted to thank his opponents for pushing him to the top, and he plans on seeing himself on the Streak 7 sometime soon.
